The Women's Fair Fitness Challenge is back again! Last year was a huge success with the winning team losing over 67 pounds and the biggest loser losing almost 35 pound! YMCA Strong Kids Campaign

Greater Wichita YMCA continually strives to make a difference in the communities it serves. One way this is made possible is through the Y's Strong Kids Campaign. This annual campaign raises funds for numerous activities, including free water safety classes, job preparatory training, early learning child care centers, summer day camps, need-based program scholarships and before and after school programs. At Dopps Chiropractic, we are proud to be a part of this positive impact on the community.
With over 30 years of experience flying and training hot air balloonists we are pround to sponsor pilot Jack Neal and The Rainbow Rider. Pilot Neal will fly the Rainbow Rider in the open skys above Wichita in the early spring through the late fall, as long as the winds are calm. It really is a sight to see from thousands of feet above the ground.

The Wichita Wingnuts have selected Dopps Chiropractic to be the official team Chiropractor for the 2010 season. We are thrilled to be part of the team and to continue our work with the professional athletes in the City of Wichita. We have been performing adjustments to help with biomechanical changes, as well as helping players work through chronic injuries that have been a nuisance over past seasons. They are off to a great start and love having us out there keeping them in line.
If anyone has ever watched the X Games on ESPN and seen motocross racing, you will understand why it is important to be adjusted. Wichita native Jeff Garlach is a daredevil to say the least, and feels right at home sitting on his motorcycle. Dopps Chiropractic is proud to sponsor the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Vet 25 Pro Champion. Watch him race locally at Jeeps Motocycle Club here in Wichita.
The Wichita Open has a 20-year tradition of producing champions who go onto become distinguished PGA professionals. As part of this tradition for the past 5 years, we understand how important this tournament can be for the up and coming golfer. Every year, our doctors and staff get the prestigous chance to interact and provide our services with these high skilled athletes. It has become a great relationship that we look forward to continuing in the future, for all parties involved.
Every year we invite our patients to join us downtown for our Patient Appreciation Night at the River Festival. This event is a great way to kick off The Wichita River Festival, and we thoroughly enjoy participating in it. This year was no exception! The River Me Timbers theme provided a great scheme to incorporate health and wellness into our float. Our floats theme was "Treasure Your Health" and our patients loved it! We felt it was important to show the city of Wichita how happy and healthy our patients are and how much we appreciate them!

As part of The Wichita Women's Fair and Genesis Health Clubs Fitness Challenge, all Dopps Chiropractic Clinics will offer spinal assessments for participants. Each location can assist contest participants in a complimentary spinal screening, looking for conditions from scoliosis to overuse injuries from gym exercises. Participants can earn points for a variety of services that are put toward the official contest. Good luck to all of those who are participating!

Planting a seed and watching it grow is one of the most powerful things we can experience in life. As health care providers we "plant" seeds of knowledge in each of our patients about health and wellness every day. The 43rd annual Wichita Garden Show was a great place to meet people from all walks of life! We were on site to provide general knowledge on various health topics as well as to offer a free massage, by our skilled massage therapists, to the 43,000 who were in attendance. We wanted to offer a place to relax and unwind while visiting the the 195 lawn and garden exhibits.
Wichita State University has a strong tradition for their athletic teams. In the past few seasons, the Men's Basketball team has done exceptionally well. With births into the NCAA March Madness Tournament and as well as finishing in the top few teams within the Missouri Valley Conference, WSU is an up and coming threat. As sponsors of the 2008-2009 season, Dopps Chiropractic is proud of the accomplishments and the overall progress that this team has accomplished.
